What is Netcast, and what is it used for?
Netcast Reaches Any Location That Has Internet

Netcast is the streaming video site for USF. We serve video streams via Internet connections for the USF community..

We offer lectures, both live and pre-recorded, so that students from geographically distant areas may attend classes and benefit from "virtual" instruction.

In the menu on the left-hand side, you will find the link that says "Course Videos." That menu option houses all of the public links to class materials, organized by department.

Some links are not available on the public pages; those links will be posted in Blackboard.

Other services we offer involve real-time live feeds of CNN, CSPAN, NASA, and History Channel, as well as coverage of important USF events.

We also cover broadcasting for important guest lecturers, who have been brought in by the University Lecture Series (ULS).

Unless we are instructed not to do so by the speaker, these events are recorded and archived on our storage servers, and will be available for reference or later retrieval.
